We use information to operate the experience, save your progress, surface community contributions, and keep the app secure. We do not sell your personal information.

Your data is stored using our secure backend infrastructure with standard industry safeguards (encryption in transit, role-based access). This page is not a security certification.

See Through Till is designed as an educational experience appropriate for children. We do not run behavioral advertising or third-party ad tracking. Parents and guardians may contact us to request deletion of a child's account or contributions.

We use only the minimal session and authentication cookies required to keep you signed in and to operate core features.

We rely on trusted providers for sign-in, backend hosting, and content delivery. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy commitments.

Portions of See Through Till — including mural imagery, animations, narrative framing, and supporting copy — were created or assisted by generative AI tools under human curation by Hello Ambi, LLC.

AI is used here to honor and educate, never to fabricate historical fact. All historical claims about Emmett Till, his family, and the events surrounding his life and legacy are grounded in documented sources. AI-generated descriptions, artwork, and atmospheric details should not be treated as primary historical record. Where artistic interpretation appears, it is offered as a mural — a tribute, not a substitute for the archive.

We do not use your personal data or community submissions to train third-party AI models.

This experience reflects historical events that include racial violence. Content is intended for guided learning. Caregivers and educators are encouraged to accompany younger children through the journey.
